Your order ships from China, and why we say so

When you order from this website, the parcel leaves our fulfilment partner's warehouse in China and travels straight to your address. It does not come from our Kalispell building, and it does not sit in a United States warehouse first.

Why we lead with this

Plenty of shops let you assume a domestic warehouse and then quietly take three weeks. We would rather you know before you pay. The trade is simple: the prices are lower than a domestic operation would allow, and delivery takes longer than one. If the wait does not suit you, better to find out now than on day twelve.

The exact processing and transit windows are on the Shipping Policy, and the short version sits on the delivery and returns page. We keep the numbers in one place so they cannot drift apart.

What the two addresses actually are

  • Kalispell, Montana is our physical multi-vendor mercantile, and it is where returns come back to. The antiques and genuine vintage stock in that building are sold in person only and are not listed on this website.
  • Albuquerque, New Mexico is the registered office of We Can Custom LLC, the company that operates this site.
  • Our partner's warehouse in China is where online orders are picked, packed and dispatched.

Three addresses sounds like a lot. It is only confusing if a shop hides two of them, so we list all three on the contact page.

What this means for you in practice

  1. Order earlier than you would from a domestic shop. If something is for a specific date, count backwards generously.
  2. Expect tracking to go quiet for a few days while the parcel moves between countries or waits on a customs check. That is normal and does not mean it is lost.
  3. Returns go to Montana, not to China. Email us first so we can match the parcel to your order.

What we are not claiming

We do not say these garments are made in the United States, because they are not. We do not say they are handmade, small-batch or one-of-a-kind, because they are newly manufactured in standard sizes. What we do say is that they are new, unworn, and described from the supplier's own paperwork, which is the subject of another post on this blog.
