How to pick a size when we publish no chart
We do not publish a garment measurement chart on our product pages. Our supplier's size data is not consistent enough to print — where we have checked it, the centimetre and inch figures do not always agree with each other. Rather than put numbers on this website that might be wrong, we took them down.
That leaves two reliable ways to get the size right, and both of them work.
1. Ask us to measure the actual garment
Email support@4thandzuri.com with the style name and the size you are considering. We measure that garment and reply, normally within one business day. This is the most accurate answer available, because it is a measurement of the thing itself rather than a number copied from a spreadsheet.
2. Compare it against a shirt you already own
- Find a shirt you already own and like the fit of.
- Lay it flat and measure straight across the chest, from armpit seam to armpit seam.
- Double that number. That is the flat bust measurement.
- Send it to us with the style you are looking at, and read the fit note in the product description.

Flat measurements are not body measurements
When we quote a bust figure it is taken from the garment lying flat, not from a body. A shirt measuring 40 inches across the chest laid out is not a shirt cut for a 40 inch bust — on an oversized style that difference is several inches of room. Measurements are also taken by hand, one garment at a time, so allow about an inch either way.
Two ranges that will catch you out
- One style skips XL. The linen-blend three-quarter sleeve top above is stocked in S, M, L, 2XL and 3XL. There is no XL in between. If XL is your size, take the 2XL.
- One style runs to 5XL. The relaxed crinkle button-up goes S through 5XL, the widest range we carry. Most other styles stop at 2XL or 3XL.

Fitted, relaxed and oversized are three different things
Every description says which one a style is, because the same chest measurement behaves differently in each. On a tailored satin blouse the placket pulls if you size down; on a crinkle shirt cut oversized, sizing down just gives you a normal fit. Read that sentence before you choose.
And if it still does not fit
Return any unworn item with its original tags within 14 calendar days of delivery, including because the size was wrong — or tell us before you post it back and we will hold a different size for you instead. Full detail is in our Return & Refund Policy.
